Augmented Reality it's the future of user interaction, it's the edge between
your pc and the reality.

To experience Augmented Reality you just need a printer and a webcam
as explained in the following instructions

     
Augmented Reality using a printed marker
Augmented Reality using a picture of the marker on a mobile

     

 

 

1. Print The Marker or Take a Picture with your Mobile

Download the pdf and print it (Make sure that the image get printed black enough, otherwise the webcome won't be able to recognize it) or open the marker and take a picture with your mobile (second video sample).

 

2. Turn on your webcam

Turn on your webcam, click here to access the movie and give the authorization to Flash to access your device, clicking on ''Allow".

If you are on a Mac you may need to manually select the camera in the flash settings by:

  1. right click on flash and select settings.
  2. select the webcam icon tab
  3. choose your camera from the drop down list (if your camera is an inbuilt one, it’s likely to be the firewire or USB version).

 

3. Experience the Augmented Reality

Click on the business card, rotate the printed marker, experience the Augmented Reality.

Just pay attention not to cover the marker.
